The insulators are required for electrical insulation of underground steel pipes with cathodic protection, but also for galvanic insulation in tubes with conductive media, applied basically for preinsulated heating, in particular cases also for the chemical process industries (CPI).
The company FW-Fernwärme-Technik GmbH produces the steel and Dr. Schnabel takes care of lining with POLYFLURON®-PTFE, final assembly and delivery.

Standard delivery of the flange connection is made with RAMCO®-PTFE-lined safety shield protecting the flange connection not only against spray but also against soilings.
