The Company


More than 50 years ago, Dr. Schnabel was the first European manufacturer to produce POLYFLURON®-PTFE. POLYFLURON®-PTFE is a virginal paste extruded PTFE that is very suitable for the application of aggressive media in chemical processes. Our customers increasing requirements for non-corroding equipment result in continued extension of our product range. We are the expert for corrosion protection of the chemical process industry (CPI).	Beside standard components for pipe systems, including different types of high-grade bellows, we offer equipment such as columns, vessels and noncorroding heat exchangers. We produce the required accessories, such as dip pipes and inlet pipes, for all equipment. Our POLYFLURON®-PTFE hose program completes the product range. In Limburg, Germany, we produce the equipment required for your application and sell them worldwide via our distributors in more than 40 countries.	The company was founded in 1934 and is privately owned by the Plinke family. As a family enterprise, we have been concentrating completely on our core competences.
